Cancer has affected my family many times over the years, and like so many people, I've seen first-hand the impact it has on the lives of those diagnosed and the people around them.
Running the London Marathon is my way of doing something positive — turning a personal challenge into support for life-saving research. Every pound raised helps Cancer Research UK fund vital work into prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, bringing us closer to a future where fewer lives are lost to cancer.
When you donate, you'll be sponsoring a specific part of the marathon course. That could be £5 for a short stretch through Greenwich, or a larger contribution covering a longer section — all the way from the river to the finish line. Your sponsored section is highlighted on the map with your name and donation, showing exactly which part of the journey you've supported.
All donations are processed securely through JustGiving, a trusted fundraising platform.Your money goes directly to Cancer Research UK and is never handled by me.
Thank you for sponsoring part of the route and helping drive progress against cancer.
